The Cross Training Program began in August 2010. DPS employees who are interested can join the workout program immediately. All DPS employees who participate in Instructor-led workouts at DPS Headquarters must complete and submit the PAR-F. The form is valid for one calendar year and must be renewed each year to continue participating in these classes.

Fitness Facility Location:
The DPS Gym is located next to Building C and requires DPS Badge Entry
Facility Usage:
DPS Employees may utilize the gym after completing and submitting the PAR-F. Personal Trainers and outside Group Exercise Instructors are not authorized to teach of provide exercise sessions in the DPS Gym.
Outside State, City, and County Police Agencies are authorized to attend sanctioned DPS Fitness Classes if the PAR-F Form has been completed and submitted to the Fitness Wellness Unit.

Cross Training Classes
Cross training classes are high intensity, 30 minute classes that give you all you need to maintain health and fitness. These classes include cardiovascular training, muscular strength, and muscular endurance work for the upper and lower body. Trainers work with all levels of fitness to guide you through the workout safely. All fitness levels welcome.
