AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) wants to remind the public that rewards of up to $1,000 are being offered for information that leads to the arrest of individuals who are still wanted in connection with crimes that occurred during the May riots at the Texas State Capitol.

AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) obtained an arrest warrant for the 14th person wanted in connection with the protests and rioting that occurred at the Texas State Capitol in May. During the riots, numerous officers were assaulted and property was damaged.

LAREDO – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) seized more than $26,000 in cash during a traffic stop on Tuesday, August 4, in Webb County.

AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) obtained arrest warrants for six individuals who were wanted for crimes – ranging from felony criminal mischief to riot – that were committed during the protests that occurred at the Texas State Capitol on May 30 and May 31. During the riots in May, numerous officers were assaulted and property was damaged.

EL PASO – Since last week, Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Special Agents, in collaboration with multiple agencies, have arrested fifteen (15) individuals on state charges and other crimes resulting from a yearlong investigation. Additionally, as a result of this ongoing investigation, multiple drug and weapon seizures have occurred.

AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is asking for the public’s help in finding 10 people involved in crimes during protests that led to rioting at the Texas State Capitol on May 30, 2020. The 10 unidentified individuals (pictured above) are wanted on misdemeanor and/or felony charges, including riot, criminal mischief (vandalism), assault on a public servant, attempting to take a weapon from a peace officer and interfering with public duties.

TYLER – DPS Troopers in Upshur County are asking for the public’s help in the investigation of a hit-and-run crash on July 17, 2020, at 11:22 a.m., which resulted in the death of a motorist on US 271 North, three miles north of Gilmer.

LAREDO – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) seized 16 pounds of cocaine and 14 pounds of heroin during a routine traffic stop on Tuesday, July 21, in Webb County.

AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) commissioned 77 new Texas Highway Patrol Troopers from its A-2020 recruit class during a graduation ceremony held on Friday, July 17. These new Troopers join the ranks of thousands of commissioned DPS officers across the state.
