The Texas License To Carry Handgun (LTC) card will now be issued with a newly featured 2D barcode on the reverse side of the card.  

AUSTIN – The Texas Public Safety Commission (PSC), along with Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Director Steven McCraw, presented two Javier Arana Top Trooper Awards, two Adolph Thomas Distinguished Service Awards and three Lifesaving Awards at the PSC meeting on Thursday, June 8, at DPS Headquarters in Austin.

AUSTIN – Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender Dante Thompson has been named this month’s Featured Fugitive. The reward for information leading to his arrest is increased to $4,000 for the month if the tip is received in June.

AUSTIN – Three of Texas’ 10 Most Wanted are back in custody following their arrests last month. Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender David Thomas was arrested May 17. Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives Nehemiah Hicks was arrested May 22, and Kentrell Fletcher was arrested May 25. A Crime Stoppers reward was paid in Thomas’ arrest.

The service was held at DPS Headquarters in Austin, with Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick serving as guest speaker.
