Justin Gray AMES, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was captured on June 20, 2024, in Odessa, Texas. Working off investigative information, DPS Special Agents located and arrested AMES. Between 2009 and 2021, AMES received multiple convictions for Assault, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Manufacture/Deliver a Controlled Substance. AMES had been wanted since January 2024, after a warrant was issued out of Ector County for his arrest for two counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Additionally, in February 2024, multiple warrants were issued out of Dallas County for his arrest for Probation Violation (Original Offenses: Aggravated Assault Causes Serious Bodily Injury, Manufacture/Deliver a Controlled Substance (x2), and Possession of a Controlled Substance). AMES’ arrest was not the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
