Johnny Dangelo MOORE, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on October 12, 2023, in Garland, Texas. Members of the U.S. Marshals North Texas Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, located and arrested MOORE.In 2015, MOORE was convicted of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and subsequently sentenced to five years’ confinement. Additionally, in 2015, MOORE was convicted of Terroristic Threat Causing Fear of Imminent Serious Bodily Injury and Assault Causing Bodily Injury of a Family Member. In 2016, MOORE was convicted of Indecency with a Child by Sexual Contact after an incident involving a 10-year-old boy. He was subsequently sentenced to four years’ confinement. In 2020, MOORE was discharged from TDCJ custody.MOORE had been wanted since April 2023, after multiple warrants were issued out of Dallas County for his arrest including Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, Resisting Arrest, and Possession of Marijuana.MOORE’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
