CAPTURE DETAILS:

Oscar ROSALES, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was taken into custody on January 26, 2022, by Mexican Authorities in Ciudad Acuna, Mexico, through a joint effort with the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Fugitive Task Force. In 1995, ROSALES was convicted of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and sentenced to 6 years of probation. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office issued a Probation Violation warrant on May 10, 1996. On January 24, 2022, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office issued a Capital Murder warrant for ROSALES’ arrest stemming from the murder of a Harris County Precinct 5 Corporal on January 23, 2022 during a routine traffic stop. The arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
