Marcus WILLIAMS, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender, was captured on March 26, 2022, in Houston, Texas. Responding to a report of a stranded motorist, Harris County Constable’s Office Pct. 5 deputies identified WILLIAMS as the driver and subsequently arrested him.In 1997, WILLIAMS was convicted of Sexual Assault after an incident involving an 18-year-old female. In 1999, he was convicted of two counts of Aggravated Robbery and received two 29-year sentences to be served concurrently. He was convicted again in 2000 for Aggravated Robbery and sentenced to 25 years' confinement. He was released on parole in 2017.WILLIAMS had been wanted since May 27, 2020, after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a warrant for his arrest for Parole Violation. On August 19, 2020, the Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest for Probation Violation. Additionally, on July 29, 2021, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements. WILLIAMS’ arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
