CAPTURE DETAILS:

Moises CALDERON, affiliated with the Hermandad de Pistoleros Latinos (HPL) gang, was captured on September 23, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas.Following up on tip information, members of the U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, located and arrested CALDERON at an apartment complex in west-central San Antonio. TDCJ-OIG, Texas Attorney General's Office, Bexar County Sheriff's Office, ICE, and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service-Dallas Office all assisted in the multi-agency fugitive investigation.In 1991, he was arrested for Murder and later convicted and sentenced to 40 years’ confinement in a TDCJ prison. CALDERON was released on parole in November 2014. CALDERON had been wanted since October 29, 2020, after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a Parole Violation warrant for his arrest. Additionally, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for his arrest on March 15, 2021, for Assault Causing Bodily Injury.CALDERON’s arrest was the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers and a reward was paid.
