CAPTURE DETAILS:

Ramon MENDOZA, Jr., affiliated with a Mexican cartel, was taken into custody by Texas DPS Highway Patrol following a traffic stop in San Antonio, Texas. MENDOZA has a criminal history consisting of numerous arrests and has served time in Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) prison on multiple occasions.MENDOZA had been wanted since December 2016 in connection to a multi-agency investigation of a transnational criminal organization involved in the transportation of stolen vehicles from San Antonio to Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. The Webb County Sheriff's Office held warrants for his arrest for Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, Theft of Property, and Conspiracy to Commit Theft of Property. In addition, MENDOZA was wanted out of Bexar County for Vehicle Theft.The arrest was not the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
