Runako LINDSEY, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was captured on September 5, 2024, in Rockport, Texas. Working off investigative information, members of the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force, including DPS Special Agents, located and arrested LINDSEY. Rockport Police Department, Nueces County Sheriff’s Office, and TDCJ-Office of Inspector General (OIG) all assisted in the multi-agency fugitive investigation.In 2023, LINDSEY was convicted of three counts of Felony Manufacture/Deliver of a Controlled Substance and was subsequently sentenced to 5 years’ probation. LINDSEY also served time in Federal prison in the past after receiving convictions for Distribution of Cocaine and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.LINDSEY had been wanted since April 2024, when multiple warrants were issued out of Nueces County for his arrest for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon and Probation Violation.LINDSEY’s arrest was not from tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
