CAPTURE DETAILS:

Guadalupe CANO, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Sex Offender affiliated with the Texas Mexican Mafia, was arrested on May 13, 2022, in Robstown, Texas. Working off investigative information, DPS Special Agents, Texas Highway Patrol, and the Robstown Police Department located and arrested CANO at a residence in Robstown. In 1984, CANO was convicted of Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and given a six-year sentence. In 1995, he was convicted of Burglary of a Habitation and sentenced to 18 years of confinement. In 2019, he received six years of probation for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance. CANO had been wanted since March 24, 2021, after the Nueces County Sheriff’s Office issued warrants for his arrest for Probation Violation and Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements. The arrest was not the result of tip information received through Texas Crime Stoppers, so no reward will be paid.
