CAPTURE DETAILS:
Christopher Wayne DAVIS, a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive, was captured on December 6, 2021, in Longview, Texas. Working off investigative information, DPS Special Agents coordinated with the Longview Police Department to conduct a traffic stop on DAVIS after he was seen leaving a business. In 2016, DAVIS was convicted of two counts of Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity, and he received probation for both counts. In 2017, DAVIS was convicted of Burglary of a Habitation and sentenced to 5 years of confinement. Additionally, his probation was revoked, and he was given two more 5-year sentences to be served concurrently in TDCJ. DAVIS was released on parole in May 2020. DAVIS had been wanted since May 5, 2021, after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a Parole Violation warrant for his arrest. On May 26, 2021, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office issued 4 felony warrants for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
