In 2011, MUNOZ was convicted for a number of criminal offenses in Hidalgo County, including Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. In 2014, while released on parole, MUNOZ was convicted again for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, along with other criminal offenses. He subsequently was given four 7-year sentences and a 15-month sentence to be served concurrently in a TDCJ prison. He was released on parole again in 2017. MUNOZ had been wanted since October 25, 2020, after the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles issued a Parole Violation warrant for his arrest.
