The Law Enforcement Enterprise Portal (LEEP) is an electronic gateway that provides law enforcement agencies, intelligence partners, and criminal justice entities with centralized access to many different resources and services via a single sign-on. These resources strengthen case development for investigators and enhance information sharing between agencies. LEEP accounts are available to personnel affiliated with the criminal justice system, intelligence community, and the armed forces.
How to Obtain LEEP Access:
To apply for a LEEP account, first check if your agency has a LEEP Agency Administrator (AA) by going to Agency Administrators – LEEP.
You will be able to search for your AA by entering your agency’s full ORI, (i.e. TX1234567) or agency name. If your agency has an AA, contact the person listed and request that they create a LEEP account for you.
If your agency does not have a current LEEP AA, then email our office at LEEP@dps.texas.gov.
And in your email, advise that you do not have a LEEP Agency Administrator and provide your full agency’s name as well as your agency’s ORI. A DPS staff member will reach out and follow up with the necessary forms for your agency to complete for LEEP Access.
