Electronic Disposition Reporting (EDR)

Electronic Disposition Reporting (EDR) of prosecution and court transactions to the Texas Department of Public Safety Computerized Criminal History (CCH) is available to Criminal Justice Agencies across Texas. EDR can be accomplished through two methods: directly by a criminal justice reporting agency through a secure online portal or via batch file upload. The CJIS Online Entry Submissions Reports contain county level monthly statistics of Prosecution (ER3) and Court (ER4) dispositions that have been reported via the secure online portal by the criminal justice agencies.

The Electronic Disposition Submissions Reports contain county level monthly statistics of Prosecution (ER3) and Court (ER4) dispositions that have been reported via the batch file upload by the criminal justice agencies.

The statistics in these reports are counts of individual dispositions reported to CCH by the criminal justice agencies, not counts of files or groupings of reported dispositions.

The Prosecutor (ER3) and Court (ER4) Frequency Reports are counts of the specific types of errors that occurred. Definitions of the errors can be found here: CJIS/LES Site | Department of Public Safety (texas.gov)
