In regard to Officer Veals’ performance - she was the utmost professional in dealing with our scenario. In our indiscretion, Officer Veals listened to our issue and did her job extremely well. Officer Veals was patient with my wife and I, always vigilant of her surroundings and approaching traffic. I was taught many years ago, “keep your head on a swivel”, Officer Veals certainly did. Her partner remained their vehicle keeping watch allowing her to do her job well. Their focus helped me as a Texas driver to be more aware of my surroundings and likely saved us a tragedy. She helped me to be more vigilant the rest of the day and hopefully from now on. Her work will be our reminder to stay focused, be aware and make it our destination safely.
