Please make note of my exceptional experience with Trooper Logan Eastburn and Trooper Scott Jabari. On May 28th I had a tire blow out. Though I was able to pull all the way off the pavement to the median, I was still in a dangerous situation due to heavy holiday traffic. I managed to reach AAA Service but after an hour and a half wait no help had arrived. Finally Trooper Eastburn came to my rescue! He and Trooper Jabari tried everything to help me including attempting to change the tire! There was no phone service but they were finally able to get through to a wrecker service which towed me to Pleasanton. My total respect and appreciation goes out to everyone at our Texas DPS but these two men showed how important all of their actions and decisions are in keeping our highways safe for all. Their efforts on this day could have likely saved lives! They’re courteous and thoughtful manner helped me manage a stressful and scary situation.
