Trooper Anthony Aragones

April 26, 2021

We would like to give thanks to Officer Aragones for all the help he provided on March 30, 2021. About 5 or 10 miles out of Bandera one of our tires on our Chevy Tahoe had a blowout. I pulled over on the side of road to start removing the flat time. Right afterwards Officer Aragones came and parked behind us with his flashing emergency lights. He said he would stay until the tire had been replaced. I was glad he parked behind our vehicle, the flashing lights gave traffic notice that something was going on. Officer Aragones must have noticed that the tire was not going on and he came over to see what was wrong. We both realized the spare tire was not going to fit. Officer Aragones offered to take both wheels back to a tire shop in Bandera where the tires could be swapped out. We agreed and after loading the wheels in his vehicle he headed back to Bandera to the tire shop. He came back with good news, the tires had been swapped out. He unloaded the wheel and he started installing it on our Tahoe. Officer Aragones was present until our car was running and ready to take off. Thanks to Officer Aragones, my wife and I did not have to worry about possibly being struck by oncoming traffic while we were changing the flat tire. He also saved us possibly two or three hours of wait time if we would have called our son for help. At the end of the day everything turned out better than what we expected, thanks to Officer Aragones’s assistance. We are truly very grateful for all his help.
