My daughter and I stopped into the Stephenville DPS office. We were met by Shirley and she provided incredible service. We had been trying for several months to get an appointment for my daughter’s permit and June was the earliest we were able to get in with the State of Texas online appointment system. Shirley was super friendly and provided helpful service in working us into an open appointment. While we waited, we watched her answer questions and help provide customers solutions (several customers had forgotten to bring the correct documents) instead of just turning them away, she offered solutions or encouraged them to run get the correct documents and come back. Please know that we are grateful for employees like Shirley who meet the challenges of public service with a smile and helpful advice.
