I want to offer a huge thank you to Officer Daniel Manney from Crowell and Officer Ernie Mejia from Vernon. They both attended and served at my dad's, Robert "Bob" Hendrix, recent funeral in Quanah. We didn't have the time to try to get honor guards arranged and didn't know Mr. Manney and Mr. Mejia were coming, but my family and I were truly blessed by their presence. They took the time to visit with us, presented the flag to my mom during the service, escorted us to the cemetery, and even assisted as pall bearers. These 2 men are class acts, and we are truly thankful they came to our service on a freezing and bitter cold Saturday (Feb 13th). We will never forget how former Trooper Bob Hendrix was honored by the organization he loved and served for so long. Thank you and may God bless you and protect you!
