I attended an appointment at the driver license center in New Braunfels. I was helped by Karis. I recently moved from out of state and was in need of a TX license. I grabbed what I thought were the appropriate documents, but inadvertently grabbed an expired copy of my vehicle insurance, and junk mail from my bank rather than something that could be used to verify my address. Ms. Beard could have told me to make another appointment, but instead she was patient and even helped me access my bank statements through my banking app and waited patiently as I collected a current proof of vehicle insurance. My unpreparedness was completely my fault, but Ms. Beard was so patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. This is not I typically experience at DPS in my home state. A little bit of kindness and grace sure does go a long way, and I just wanted to express how thankful I am for the experience with Ms. Beard.
