I arrived at Dimples counter to apply for a Texas ID. I did not understand that I would have to surrender my NV DL in exchange. I thought I could keep my NV DL and just use the Texas ID for proof of residency in Texas to apply for Disabled Veteran property tax abatement. She was very patient with me while I struggled with the facts and then decided to trade my NV DL for a TX DL. She also helped me recover documents I had on my phone and email them to her to print out. She was so helpful and a pleasure to work with. Please thank her for me.
