To all concerned about customer service. I just wanted to acknowledge the best service and experience I have ever had with the Texas Department of Public Safety. I was tasked with getting my 91 year old aunt's driver license renewed. Our first visit didn't go as planned because we didn't have all the documents with us. She also failed the sight test. So, I asked could we switch and get her a valid Texas ID card, since the only reason for her driver license was for identity purpose. So, once we had the required documents we made an appointment to your 119 Conrads Lane New Braunfels, Texas location. The kindness and care we were greeted with set the tone for our entire visit. Once in the center, your people continued the personalized treatment and escorted us over to Dennis. Dennis just charmed my aunt and she was so relieved that someone would listen to her issues without dismissing her. He looked in the computer and saw we had just visited the other center and worked his magic to eliminate another trip. Dennis chatted with the manager of the center and they came up with the solution to use my aunt's light bill as an extra document. I was even exposed as tech illiterate because I couldn't work my phone to save my life. Dennis even helped me log on and print out the documents needed. Talk about going above and beyond, when we left, our trip turned out being a total success. Dennis used all the resources available to insure we didn't have to make another appointment and start the process over again. We were just blown away by him and all the guys in your center.
