My wife and I were traveling from Clovis to Lubbock for a doctor appointment. At around 7 AM, close to Anton, we had our right rear tire blow out. While waiting for assistance through OnStar, Trooper Garry Ozbirn pulled up behind us and offered to change the tire for us. My wife and I are elderly and my wife is on oxygen and it was still dark. His help was greatly appreciated. Our son is the Undersheriff here is Curry county and we know it’s a tough and dangerous job. We just wanted to say thanks to Trooper Ozbirn for his help. He was very courteous and professional in all aspects of his interaction with us. Please, if you get a chance, at a briefing or something please acknowledge his good work in front of his peers. Our son, Mike thanks him and we sure thank him!!!
