I was at the Carrollton Mega Center on Monday getting my driver license renewed. My experience was positive. I was greeted by a friendly lady at the door who showed me which line to stand in. I was again greeted by Christy Kester, who was very friendly and helpful. I want to give Christy kudos because she was personable, efficient and a great ambassador for DPS. She reminded me of the deadline to get a Real ID and to let everyone I know that they can get their license renewed in advance to avoid the mad rush at the end. As a result, I've spread the word to make sure my family and friends get their license renewed now instead of waiting.
