Somewhere near Kingsville, I missed seeing a work zone sign and was pulled over by Trooper Marcus Bulluck. Not that I enjoy being pulled over (that was a first for me) but I felt lucky that it was Trooper Bulluck who did so. He was polite and kind, making a connection with us (we’re from Washington state and he had worked there). My mom, sis and I agreed that meeting Trooper Bulluck was a highlight of the trip. There was something in his demeanor that gave me great confidence that had we been tougher customers than we were, he would’ve been able to handle that, too.
