We needed to renew our handicapped son’s identification card. We contacted Portia Dukes at the Baytown Driver License Office and she was very helpful explaining how we could handle the renewal. Our son gets upset when in any kind of professional setting and tries to leave. He is not violent in any way, but is nervous and does not cooperate. We notified Portia Dukes when we were going to the office and when we arrived, we called her and she sent Vanessa Miller to our vehicle in the parking area with the paperwork which we filled out. Vanessa Miller took the paperwork and payment inside and came back with a camera to take the picture for the ID. She went inside and processed the renewal and brought the temporary ID back out to us. Both Portia Dukes and Vanessa Miller were professional, considerate and made this process a good experience for us. The assistance is appreciated and we just wanted to say Thank you.
