On July 6, 2020 I was stopped for speeding by Officer Jones. It was late at night and I didn’t realize I was traveling at that rate of speed over the 80mph which was posted. I did know I was going over the speed limit just not that fast. Officer Jones was very official but still very respectful. What I appreciated the most was the fact that he took the time to explain to me the serious danger I was putting myself and most of all my family in. His explanation changed my entire mind set and served as a wakeup call that I really needed at the time. As I left and thought about what he said, I realized he might have been my savior that dark night.
