You need to be aware of a DPS officer who went above and beyond the call of duty on July 11th, Palo Pinto Co. His name is Wil Windham, from Region 1. He assisted me in finding out that I had a knot on my right rear tire and then proceeded with changing it. The temperature read 103 degrees and I'm sure the heat index was near 110. He was very professional, courteous and personable. It was my pleasure to make his acquaintance. I am respectfully requesting that if possible kudos be sent his way by his superiors. Because it is my firm belief that he is a superb example of the quality of the individuals within the Texas DPS.
