I was stopped last Thursday evening by Officer Pineda near Pecos, TX, for speeding in a construction zone on Hwy 285. I just want to give him a compliment for his professionalism and the respect he showed me. Though I was in the wrong, he treated me in a kindly manner even as he went through all the necessary questions he needed to ask me. He impressed me with his calm and friendly manner in how he related to me and he gave me confidence in our DPS officers and their work to protect the public safety. I will certainly be a more attentive driver thanks to him. Thank you.
