This employee went above and beyond in her aid to me. I came into DPS distraught and crying. This pandemic has taken a toll on me emotionally and financially. Mariela Pedraza took time with me. She consoled me and assisted me in completing my paperwork. She listened to me. She gently guided me through my DL renewal process. There were several other staff there who provided support; the lady at the door, the lady at the information desk and the manager. They all showed me compassion and kindness and viewed me as a human being. I just want to thank you for your service and going above and beyond.
