Usually I would not be inclined to write a nice email about being pulled over for speeding! However, whilst travelling between Houston and Dallas on I-45N on July 24th, I inadvertently exceeded the posted limit and was stopped by Officer Moore in Leon County. Throughout the stop, this Officer handled the situation politely and professionally and with the minimum disruption to my journey. With everything that is going on in the Country at the moment, a small interaction like this goes a long way to reinforcing to the public that how the Police are being portrayed on TV, is not a fair representation of 99.9% of the force. I hope you are able to pass this recognition on to this young Officer who is representing the DPS in the professional manner we expect of our Texas Highway Patrol.
