I am writing this commendation on behalf of CRP Investigator Cindy Hitt. While I was driving on a Texas Interstate Highway on October 6, 2020 my car had a flat tire. When I realized that there was a problem with my car, I pulled over into the break-down lane. Fortunately, CRP Investigator Cindy Hitt came to my assistance. Ms. Hitt was both, very professional and courteous in her demeanor, but she, also, provided me with assistance that I could gain nowhere else. It is far too infrequently when our police department are recognized for the vital services that police officers provide for the wellbeing and safety of the general public. Each day, they risk their lives in the course of performing their duties, and I believe that all Americans should honor, with enormous respect, ALL of the great men and women, working in the capacity of law enforcement officers, across our great state and country.
