Application Window
The Texas Department of Public Safety is currently accepting applications for the Basic Polygraph Examiners Course that is tentatively scheduled for January 2025. The application window closes on October 31, 2024. If not enough applicants are received during this window, the next session will instead be held in September 2025. However, all applications received for the January 2025 date will be guaranteed a spot for the September date.
Tuition Increase
The Texas Department of Public Safety Law Enforcement Polygraph School is dedicated to remaining the country's premier law enforcement polygraph training program. To address the increasing expenses for supplies, instructors, and equipment, we have made the decision to raise our tuition costs. This increase reflects our commitment to maintaining high standards and ensuring the best educational experience.
Effective September 2025, the tuition for the session will increase from $4,000 to $5,000 per student. Please note that the tuition cost for the January 2025 session will remain at $4,000 per student.
We are committed to providing top-quality training and appreciate your understanding as we implement this change.
