AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking information in the 1987 murder of Veronica Taylor. The reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for her death is now increased to $6,000 if the tip is received before the next featured Texas Rangers cold case is announced.

EL PASO – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) along with several partner agencies issued nearly 100 violations as part of an enhanced enforcement operation focused on the state’s Move Over or Slow Down and distracted driving laws.

Investigators believe the public may have key information to help solve this case.
