I took my son out to practice driving in night conditions with his permit. My son did not have his headlights fully on, having stopped at the parking lights position. Officer Appleman issued him a warning for failing to have his headlights on. I am writing now to say that Officer Appleman was both professional and kind. He saw that my son was a learning driver and instructed him in a way that was just and yet patient. I appreciated his demeanor throughout the experience.
