I sincerely thank Trooper Halfmann for his courtesy and invaluable assistance to me on June 8th, when I had a tire blow out on I35 southbound at Jarrell. I called the Roadside Assistance number on the back of my driver license and then summoned Trooper Halfmann to help me. He went above and beyond the call of duty and was super courteous. He removed my damaged tire and drove me and the tire to a local tire shop. The shop didn't have the tire size I needed, so Trooper Halfmann drove to Belton to pick up a tire, brought it to the tire shop who mounted it for me. Trooper Halfmann then drove me back to my car on the interstate, installed the tire on my vehicle and followed me for a considerable distance to make sure that I had no more trouble. He is a tremendous asset to the DPS and to Texas. He is much appreciated by me.
