On 4/24/2021 my wife, two adult sons and I were traveling to Austin. Officer Tice activated his emergency lights and I immediately pulled over and stopped. He approached my vehicle from the passenger side in a non-threatening manner and immediately advised me as to why he had stopped me. His mannerism was extremely professional and respectful. When we resumed our travels, my two sons commented that there are so many professional law enforcement officers on the road who are there to truly "serve and protect". Please pass on to Officer Tice and his supervisor that he definitely earned the respect and admiration of my sons, wife, and me. We have told this story many times over to those we come in contact with. It needs to be told because of the current light officers find themselves in today. Office Tice is definitely a credit to his profession and the people he serves. He definitely renewed our faith in "America's Finest". Office Tice is the embodiment of your motto, "Courtesy, Service and Protection".
