Tina Leatherwood & Georgetown DLO

April 9, 2021

I would like to thank everyone at the Georgetown Office on Westinghouse Road. From the first lady who checked my temperature and screened me, to the lady who walked me to the machine to get my ticket number to the lady behind the desk who actually worked on my license. Tina Leatherwood was kind, polite and helpful. She calmly took her time going through my paperwork with me, looking for the correct papers in my pile of paperwork, to find just what was needed to get everything I needed. Even her patience with me when I couldn’t find a form that I was sure I brought with me, but ended up not bringing with me. Kudos all around, and especially to Ms. Leatherwood. My expectations and hopes were that the process would at least not be too painful. In the end, it was so easy that it was a pleasure to go through. Which I’m sure is the first time I’ve ever said that about a government and its bureaucracy, having spent time in the military and the civil service. Thank you, Tina, and everyone else for helping this old man through the process of renewing his license.
