I just wanted to thank the Rockwall driver license office for a very pleasant experience. I made an appointment to renew my license and was in and out in 30 minutes. The lady who greeted us actually came outside to make sure we were in the right line (appointment or not). She took my name and since I was early asked me to wait just a bit. She was happy and kind. I waited about 10 minutes and barely sat down inside when I was called over to a desk. Jaslyn typed in my information in a kind and courteous way. Needless to say, this is the absolute first time I've had anything close to a positive experience getting my license in 36 years of driving. I've gone to the DMV in Ohio, Florida, Missouri, and Arlington, TX and it is usually several hours of waiting, followed by very grumpy workers with little patience. I know public servants are often underpaid and underappreciated. Please know that what you do, a smile or patience, makes a difference.
