I was traveling at a high rate of speed when Officer Anderson pulled me over. Although I was in the wrong, Officer Anderson was very thorough, but also very respectful. Instead of lecturing me, he gave me my citation and lightened the mood. When trying to get off of the shoulder and back onto the roadway he also made sure to turn off his bright light, leaving his flashing lights on, giving me the opportunity to safely re-enter the highway. I wanted to compliment him on his respectful behavior, sense of humor and kindness. It was scary being stopped late at night, having never been in any kind of trouble with the law, but he made it as mild and comforting as possible.
