Me and my girlfriend were riding back from South Padre Island and as I went over the railroad tracks on FM1421 I lost control and dropped my bike right on the curb. Never have been involved in an accident before I could not remember the events of the accident and had a heavy heart seeing my passenger on the ground. I couldn't speak or think and felt fear. The blessing that night was that Trooper Yanez was so close that he was on site within minutes. I thank God for that. That night I was wearing my half helmet and a leather vest for protection. Having had injuries to my face and arms. For this I will give my word to never ride without my full PPE again. I want to give my thanks to the Texas Highway Patrol and especially Trooper Yanez, may our lord bless him in his career. Once again, thank you.
