I would like to publicly acknowledge the help I received from Officer J. Hoy in Brownwood. My phone was not working at all, so I had no map to help me, and no one I was able to call or text to ask for help getting home to Abilene from Brownwood. I was then pulled over by Officer Hoy for speeding. I told him I was lost, and not from the area. He was very understanding and helpful. He gave me directions to Abilene, was very kind to my preschool son who was with me. His directions were perfect, and I made it safely home to Abilene. Thank you, Officer Hoy, for your assistance and kindness. I appreciate you and all of you law enforcement officers working hard to keep Texas roads and Texas drivers safe!
