I would like this nice lady to be recognized for her outstanding customer service skills as an employee at our local DPS office located at 1854 Northwestern here in El Paso, Texas. I am a Caregiver to a lady who needed to renew her driver license recently. We had an appointment, however, the system to verify passport identification was down that day. We waited for over two hours before we finally decided to reschedule for another day. Valorie had to handle many other people with appointments and let them know their system was down. It was stressful for everyone to have to wait, but she handled the situation like a true professional. She expressed regret for the inconvenience to everyone she encountered and she did it with ease and a friendly smile. It really made all the difference. She even brought my elderly companion a chair to sit on while we waited outside. The new appointment she gave us was only a few days later and when we arrived, she remembered my companion’s name. We were in and out of the office within 30 minutes and we made sure to say goodbye to Valorie and thank her for everything she did to help us with her kindness. Please recognize her for us! Thank You.
