I’m sending this email to let you know about the incredible customer service I received at the Rockwall Driver License Office from Joyce Cash. I relocated to Texas in July 2020 for work and immediately got on the list to transfer my Driver License from Pennsylvania to Texas. When the day finally arrived I believed I had all the documentation I needed. When I sat with Joyce Cash she talked to me about the benefits of being a Disabled Veteran and how I could get my Driver License at no cost if I had my VA Documentation. Of course I did not bring it with me and since it was so late in the day I told her that I would be willing to pay since I didn’t bring my documents. Joyce Cash told me that I could come by the following morning at 8:00 am and bring my documents so I could get my license at no charge and have my Veterans Status on my Driver License. I had very little time the following morning and once again just offered to pay and leave off my Veterans Status. Joyce told me that she would make sure that I would see her first thing at 8:00 am and it wouldn’t take very long to enter all of the data. I arrived the following morning and true to her word I sat with Joyce, she entered all my data and then issued my no cost Veterans Texas Driver License. I wanted to say thank you to the State of Texas for treating Veterans so well and an even bigger thank you to Joyce Cash for being so kind to me. The Pennsylvania DMV would have NEVER treated me so well. This just reinforces the reasons I wanted to move my family to Texas! Thanks again Joyce Cash!!
