Trooper Michael McCary

February 12, 2021

While coming back to Bronte from Robert Lee, I had a flat. Trooper McCary pulled up behind my car as I was getting the jack and spare out. He retrieved the jack and while I was still struggling with the spare he began to jack the truck up and took off the flat. Even though I told him not to bother I would get it, he jumped in to help. Not that I couldn't have done it myself, but his help was greatly appreciated and it did help speed up the process. The best part was the reaction of the guy I was with. He's from New York City and he was blown away by not only the courtesy and professionalism of Trooper McCary but by the fact that this would have never happened in New York. I wanted to commend Trooper McCary for the same courtesy and professionalism and for being an example that there is no better law enforcement community in the country than what we have in Texas.
