I've always heard that there's good and bad with everything in life, including our law enforcement. When I encountered Texas State Trooper Sterry a few days ago, the absolute best of the Texas State Highway Patrol was on full display. After my failed attempts using what I like to call "alternative methods" to raise my vehicle, Texas State Trooper Sterry showed up with his vehicle jack to get the job done, but he didn't stop there like most would have. After we realized the spare wasn't going to work, Trooper Sterry loaded up my rim/tire and drove me into town to get a new tire at a local tire shop. He then took me back to my truck where I had to stop him from putting the rim and tire back on the truck. I'd like to thank both Texas State Trooper Sterry, as well as the person who made the decision to hire him at Texas State Highway Patrol. Y'all picked a good one.
