Admittedly, the reason I had the opportunity to recently interact with Trooper Michael was that I was driving 5 miles per hour over the speed limit on January 2, 2020. Trooper Michael exhibited the highest level of professionalism and public service during our interaction. The citizens of Salado, Bell County, and the State of Texas are very fortunate that D. Michael is serving as an officer with the Texas Department of Public Safety.
