I was in a hurry and not paying attention to my speed. That’s when Trooper Carrizales met me. I was most definitely in the wrong. Trooper Carrizales approached me and I immediately let her know I was armed. I had a pistol and a shotgun. I don’t normally take time to write about a LEO but I know Trooper Carrizales was extremely professional and nice even when I informed her I was armed. I have had some unpleasant experiences with different LEOs when I informed them I was armed. Trooper Carrizales is a great example of DPS Trooper. I left the encounter with a better respect for DPS.
