My teenaged daughter was just pulled over due to slightly speeding by Officer Rose. She was terrified, as this was her first time being pulled over. She described this officer as being extremely kind and helpful. He not only treated her well, but had a calm and comforting demeanor. Before leaving, he said he thought he saw her engine smoking and checked her tires and offered to check her oil, though she declined. He truly went above and beyond. All I can say is that she had a wonderful learning experience, both about being a cautious driver and about appreciating the ability of this officer to maintain his humanity and kindness doing what must be a very difficult and thankless job.
